Richard Amsel was an influential 20th century American Graphic Designer and Illustrator who’s work was mainly found in Movie Posters, album covers and TV Guide covers.  I am not a huge fan of some of his more intricate illustrated work, namely the poster for Indiana Jones, but his more graphic work, specifically that of Hello Dolly, and the work he did for Bette Middler, is amazing.

My mom has this awesome Bette Middler concert poster, by Amsel, framed in her bathroom.  It has suffered some serious moisture stains though.
